February 08, 2018 –  On a chilly Thursday evening last week, neighbors and friends gathered in the historic Bluebird Canyon Farms Lodge to share some community and discuss the farm’s operating practices.  This was the first of three planned “Open House” meetings that will offer community members details regarding the farm’s history, its operational practices, and program offerings. “There has been a consistent outpouring of interest and support for the farm and we felt these meetings will further clarify who we are, what we do, and our values” according to Education  Coordinator Kathy Tanaka, who adds “The additional meetings to be held in March and April will provide opportunities for more community members to stop in, meet the team, and ask questions“.  The Open House Meetings scheduled for March and April are  posted on the Farm’s calendar.  Community members interested in reviewing the information presented during last week’s “Open House” can find a “slide pack”  under “Presentations” in the “Documents” section of our website, or by following the link included below.
